Smash Clean (the "Game") is made by Elyxia Games ("we", "us"), based in Türkiye. Elyxia Games is responsible for your personal data (the "data controller", or veri sorumlusu under Turkish law). This policy explains what information the Game handles, why, and what choices you have.
In short
- The Game has no accounts and no ads, and does not track you across other apps or websites.
- Your progress stays on your device.
- With your permission, we use Google Firebase to see how the Game is played and to receive crash reports. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
- If you allow notifications, Firebase delivers them to your device.
- We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information stored on your device
The Game saves your progress on your device: unlocked levels, coins, lives and the refill timer, your daily reward streak and last claim date, Big Ball count, owned and selected skins, and your music, sound and vibration settings.
This data stays in the Game's storage on your device and is never sent to us. Deleting the Game deletes it, and we cannot restore it. If you use your device's backup service (such as iCloud or Google backup), that service may include the Game's data under your settings and Apple's or Google's privacy terms.
2. Analytics and crash reports
When you first open the Game, we ask whether you allow analytics and crash reports. Both stay off until you agree. You can change your choice at any time in the Game's Settings.
If you agree, we use two Firebase services from Google:
- Google Analytics for Firebase collects an app instance ID, on iOS the identifier for vendor, and events such as opening the Game, session length, levels played and coins earned or spent. It also collects your device model, operating system, language and app version, and your approximate location (country or city) estimated from your IP address.
- Firebase Crashlytics collects, when the Game crashes or hits an error, the error details, the state of your device (such as model, operating system, free memory and whether it is rooted or jailbroken) and installation IDs. If analytics is on, it also includes the game events just before the crash.
We use this information to understand how the Game is played, balance levels and fix bugs. We do not collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA or Android advertising ID), and we do not use this information for advertising. It is not linked to your name or email address. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a); KVKK Article 5(1)), which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Notifications
If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your device a notification token linked to a Firebase installation ID. To deliver notifications, it also processes your device model, language, time zone, operating system and app version.
We send reminders, for example when your lives are full or a daily reward is waiting, and news about the Game. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings. Our legal basis is your consent, given through your device's permission prompt.
4. Game settings from our servers
The Game downloads settings from Firebase Remote Config, so we can adjust difficulty, rewards and events without an app update. For this, Firebase uses an installation ID and your country, language, time zone, operating system version and app ID.
If you allow analytics, we may also use analytics data to give groups of players different settings, for example to test which difficulty works better. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the Game (GDPR Article 6(1)(f); KVKK Article 5(2)(f)).
5. Support emails
The Support button in Settings opens your own email app with a draft message. The draft includes the game version, app ID, platform, operating system version, device model, device language, your highest unlocked level, your coin balance and a Player ID. The Player ID is an 8-character code made from your device's app identifier with a one-way function. It cannot be turned back into that identifier, and we do not use it to track you.
You can edit or delete any of this before sending. Nothing reaches us unless you send the email. If you do, we also receive your email address, any name in your email settings, your message and any attachments.
We use this information only to answer you, fix problems and improve the Game. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Article 5(2)(c) and (f)).
6. Information from Apple and Google
Apple and Google give us aggregated statistics such as downloads, ratings and country totals. If you allowed it in your device settings, they also share crash reports and app performance data with developers. This information does not identify you to us. Apple's and Google's handling of your data is covered by their own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
7. Device permissions
The only permission the Game asks you for is notifications, and saying no does not affect gameplay. On Android it also uses permissions that need no approval: internet access, to send analytics and crash reports and to receive notifications and settings, and vibration, for haptic feedback. You do not need an internet connection to play.
8. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information, share it for targeted advertising, or give it to data brokers. We share information only in these cases:
- With Google, which runs Firebase for us as our service provider (data processor) under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. We have turned off the settings that let Google use this data for its own purposes, such as advertising. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- With our email provider, which stores support emails for us.
- If the law, a court or a public authority requires it.
- To protect our rights, our users or the public, for example against fraud.
- With a buyer or successor if Elyxia Games is merged, acquired or sold. This policy would continue to apply to your information.
The Privacy, Terms and Rate Us buttons open our website or your app store. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
9. International transfers
We are based in Türkiye. Google may process Firebase data in the United States and other countries where it has facilities, and our email provider may store support emails outside your country. Google LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, and its Firebase terms include standard contractual clauses. When personal data leaves your country, we take the steps that applicable law requires, including KVKK Article 9 and Chapter V of the GDPR.
10. How long we keep information
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Analytics data | 14 months, then deleted. Aggregated reports that do not identify you may be kept longer. |
| Crash reports | 90 days |
| Notification token and installation IDs | While you use the Game. Deleted IDs are removed from Google's systems within 180 days. |
| Support emails | 2 years after the conversation ends |
| Progress on your device | Until you delete the Game |
We may keep information longer if the law requires it or we need it for a legal claim.
11. Security
Firebase encrypts data in transit using HTTPS. We limit access to our Firebase project and support mailbox to the people who need it and protect them with strong authentication. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The Game is made for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, other than device identifiers needed to run and fix the Game, which we never use for advertising or profiling. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (13 to 16, depending on the country), ask a parent before agreeing to analytics or emailing us. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal information without a required parent's consent, we will delete it. Parents can contact us at any time.
13. Your rights and choices
You can always:
- turn analytics and crash reports on or off in the Game's Settings;
- turn notifications off in your device settings;
- delete the Game, which removes your progress and stops all data collection.
Depending on where you live, including the EU, the UK, Türkiye and US states such as California, you may also have the right to:
- know whether we process your personal data and get a copy of it;
- learn why we process it and who receives it, including recipients abroad;
- correct inaccurate data;
- have your data deleted or restricted;
- object to processing, or to a result produced solely by automated analysis;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing, under KVKK.
To make a request, email elyxia.ea@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity. Analytics and crash data are not linked to your name or email, so we may be able to find them only with an identifier from your device; if we cannot match your request to data, we will tell you. We respond free of charge within 30 days and will not treat you differently for using your rights.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority, the authority in your EU country, or the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
14. Do Not Track
We do not track you across apps or websites, so Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not change how the Game works.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is significant, for example adding ads, we will tell you in the Game or on its store page before it takes effect, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
